From an early age, music was his education as he absorbed every ounce of his families’ symphonic heritage. As his knowledge and understanding grew, a real thirst for applying this tuition set in. Raul started to apply his skills within the sound design and composition arena as he began his acoustical journey. Real synchronicity is evident in his sound as he brings together the ambiguous with subtle nuances of earlier decades, bringing his vision to life. With a focus on the lower end of the minimal derivative, Jazz and ambient frequencies entwine with cosmos and human behavior which bring an explosive fusion of genres, orchestrated within his live sets. Club Midi resident of ten years, RQZ’s reputation continues to grow at a rapid speed which has led to several high-profile residencies and performances on the biggest of stages including the widely-followed Goosebumps movement and the Swiss underground dance music hotbed, Club Supermarket. The famed Mioritmic Festival came calling, where he has been a mainstay for over eight years.
