Emerging recording and visual artist from London's nu romantic movement. Scary Luke has been developing his artistry along with friends, who he signed along with himself to his own record label - Kah Lu Kha Records. A science graduate from Westminster University and a professional photographer/filmmaker and imaging specialist by trade for the last decade, he has worked alongside the top information technology companies, galleries, fashion designers and archives in film digital preservation and special projects. Born and raised in London the artist has a clear identity and approach to his artistic disciplines. Focused on breaking new boundaries in music, the genre bending label has output over 500 tracks since the start of lockdown. With a steady flow of releases scheduled for 2022 the artist has built a catalogue of unique sound. A visual artist at heart, along with his deep musical inclination, Scary Luke produces, directs and films all of his imagery and music videos. Often creating songs and visuals intended to transport the listener, the immersive level of production is blissfully hypnotic. Scary Luke's first public performance was at legendary music venue The Old Blue Last in Shoreditch (London) 14/10/21 alongside Skymachine on guitar (pictured). In between recording at The Qube recording studios and hanging out at the Scotch of St James he can be found researching at The Wellcome Collection or digging for gold in Rough Trade. Notable collaborations yet to be released include Lil B, Jasmine Armando, Christopher Kane (platform), Joanna Hir & Bertrand Van Kleef.
