WAAN is a duo consisting of Nekochan & Hubwar. Nekochan composes refined electronic music on which she lays an airy voice. Signed on Airflex Labs (Fr), Alpha Pup (US) and Noizion Recordz (Fr) she scoured French festivals from 2009 to 2014 with her progressive and explosive live (Transmusicales de Rennes, Nuits Sonores etc.). Hubwar meanwhile is one of the pioneers of the bass-music genre in France, he signed on several specialized labels before founding his own imprint Noizion Recordz. With dozens of EPs and 2 albums to his credit, he is now recognized as a major player in this scene in France. The fusion of their two universes generates a music at the crossroads of glitch-hop, bass music and techno, a kind of underground pop, unique and bewitching.
