Azizam Dub

Glenn Underground and Cei-Bei said “House Music Will Never Die”. With that in mind, I submit Azizam Dub to be minted in the permaweb. Azizam Dub is one of the tracks from the forthcoming Fresh Meat Dubs Vol 1, a various artists vinyl-only EP to be released in early 2023. 200 copies of the EP will be pressed on color vinyl and hand-numbered. Azizam means ‘my dearest’ in Farsi. Without dancers there is no meaning in dance music so this is my ode to the house music dancer; the most important element in my musical practice. The dancers are the dearly beloved. The Unique edition owner of this track will receive a signed copy of the Fresh Meat Dubs Vol 1 record when it’s released. The Unique owner will also get a copy of the test pressing. Legendary edition owners will receive signed copies of the finished vinyl record. Azizam Dub is a new original composition and will not be released digitally in any other format other than this NFT on Pianity. I can’t think of a better way to combine the past and the future. Chicago house music minted in the permaweb, connecting NFT owners to the vinyl records that are the cornerstone of house music’s past. This is an ode to the dancers, and it’s the beginning of a new kind of communication between music creators and those who most deeply appreciate the music.
