For my first NFT I decided to pay tribute to two scenes that forged me musically, alongside the House scene. That of the raves that arrived in Brazil in the 90s, with its sustained Techno, and that of the first beats coming from a sound specific to the favelas of Rio, what was called "Rap Brasil" at the time. "Batida de Favela" is the result of this marriage, combining ghetto beats with the old school sounds of the early rave movement. All accompanied by a visual that shows the initial impulse of the track's construction, made from the sound of the "pandeiro", an emblematic instrument of Brazilian musical culture.
