"For the entirety of my time as a student at Wolfson College, Cambridge, I truly thought the park next to the College was named after a place where llamas could go and daydream. The park was where my college friends and I would go to have picnics, to fly drones and feed ducks in the pond. It was only after I had graduated and went back as part of my first UK tour, that a kindly old lady whom I had sang in the Wolfson Choir with came up to me after the concert to tell me “Lammas Land” is actually an old legal term for cattle-grazing ground. Nonetheless, I chose to keep the original title because my time at Cambridge was such a restorative, childlike and innocent time, and I wanted to pay tribute to the place that allowed me to dream about llamas dreaming in “Llamas’ Land”."
