Biography
Hello ! We are Darya and Leo. Two musicians, producers and dis with more than 15 years experience each. Leo was born and raised in a musical family in Paris . He learned cello, guitar and piano when he was young and later started learning how to produce electronic music. His influence came from wide variety of artists from David Bowie to Radiohead, from classical music to techno . He likes to explore different styles, colours, sounds. Darya was born in Belarus. She started to learn music when she was 6. She finished music school with class of piano . The first big stage she had as a lead of a group in Belarus. In the same time she started her career as a hiphop dj, influenced by 90-s and 2000-s. Travelling around the world with her performance. And she moved to Paris. We met in 2016 and became friends . And in 5 yers in 2021 we decided to create a project together. DAERYA & LEO was born. We mixed our all influences together to create our own style. Travelling, spacy, groovy, melodic. From downtempo to melodic techno. Music has no limits and borders.
