Interplanetary Gap ( You have opened the redolent door only to find yourself immersed in a vast, sanguine flowzone. You feel the amputation of your gelatinous tentacles which had been wrapped around conforming amiability. In this sonic space, directions loopback upon themselves. Forwards is backwards. Perspective breaks down in reassembly. Happiness is only a facsimile that echoes equanimity. You have to be lost to find yourself. Despite the disorientation, there's a comforting liberty in spaceless, timeless impermanence. ---- This is one of the first of several sonic experiments from visionary producer Guti and the interplanetary couple EVSTAD, composed of raspy mood sculptor Edrea Onstad and PhD neuroscientist/experimental musician Nathaniel Evans. As a truly borderless trio that spans the US, Brazil, Sweden, and Argentina, the three met and instantly connected. They started making music over a shared passion for the brain, experimentation at the fringes, and the liminal space between surreality and fullology.
