ABOUT LEAF SYNDROME This track happened fast and it quickly became an obvious single for my debut album "Patterns", released in June 2021. The song is about relationships and how hard it is for me to think clearly when emotions are flying high. I’ve always had trouble interpreting my own emotions. I’m a very logical thinker, and when I can’t see things clearly I get very frustrated. COLLEGE RADIO: Leaf Syndrome was a surprise success at US/Canada College Radio. It was serviced to radio as a "dual-single" along with "Patterns" single, where it was the #2 "Most Added" (tied with The Chemical Brothers and Bicep). It reached # 1 on the NACC Top 30 Chill Chart (x 2 weeks) and #26 on the NACC Top 30 Electronic Chart. It received heavy support from KCRW's Jason Bentley and over 70 college radio stations. ARTWORK: The NFT artwork is by renowned Tokyo based "liquid painter" Akiko Nakayama. Combining the energy of movement and the vibrancy of colors, Akiko Nakayama brings pictures to life through her "Alive Painting". Akiko has performed her Alive Paintings at influential Arts and Culture festivals including New ARS ELECTRONICA (2019) Austria Linz, TEDxHaneda (2015) Tokyo , DLECTRICITY ART FESTIVAL (2017) Detroit, LAB30 Media Art Festival (2018) Augsburg, TECHNARTE Art and Technorogy (2019) Bilbao Spain, MUTEK Montreal and Tokyo 2019.
