Big Thing

I started off by creating the timbres for each of the elements of the track. Later, I got together with one of the musicians I usually play with, more specifically the bassist, in order to perfect the main musical idea on the synth bass. We ended up finding a more catchy melody that way. I looked for several strong and repetitive motifs, such as the guitar that introduces the tune. At the same time, there is a big contrast between the B sections of the song through a harmonic layer of violins that evokes a feeling of weightlessness together with tension that climaxes on the main motif of the song. -- Part of the DTX Collection
