"To the moon" is an attempt to reproduce the sensation of watching the moon at night. All the dreams and wonders that this big hypnotising satellite can create in our heads is something that I've always wanted to interpret with music. The main influence for this project was none other than Pink Floyd's "the dark side of the moon". Listening to this masterpiece at night, from A to Z, looking beyond the stars, straight at the infinity, is something everyone should experience - and this is what gave the first impulse for this project. The saxophone and piano parts have been recorded (in an one-night session, to keep the idea of spontaneity and ephemerality alive) with two very close friends, Etienne Bagard and Camille Ogee. The visual has been created by Nanou, a french upcoming artist that I've worked with several times and that always understood what was the right vision for each project.
