Ferminia

The Ferminia is a highly secretive bird that is endemic to the island of Cuba. Inhabiting the dense scrub of the Zapata Swamp. The species is classified as Endangered and drainage of its wetland habitat alongside agricultural expansion has degraded this species’ habitat, while introduced mongooses and rats also pose a threat.
