A day in Culverden is a new project of the french techno/house composer Theobald Ringer. Around 10 tracks, this album represents the story of a day in New Zealand, in a little city of the south Island. Before to discovering this country during 10 months in 2020, Thibault left France with his laptop and Ableton live to compose some musics during the travel. After discover beautiful landscapes, a new culture and new people, he finished his trip in working in Culverden, a farm-city far away from the Covid anxiogen ambient. Besides long work hours with the cows, the days-off permits to him to compose music, next to the nature, with nobody around. A day in Culverden is a wink of the final step of his travel : a conceptual LP around house, techno, jazz and lounge music, to increase a moment into music, like an introspection in a day in Culverden.
