Friday jams. Fat black cats club mix.

A friend and I were hanging out in my apartment's home studio. And he was sitting and banging my drums, and I just recorded some of it for fun. Later, I sat down and fiddled with the parts and pieces I had cut out from the recordings, then I equalized and seasoned them a bit and added some different things, like synths, fragments of other audio files I had lying around, etc. I used all sorts of things in the form of sound modules and effects. And I found something to play with again. I put basses on and seasoned it all to finish with this result. I think the recordings of my buddy playing on my drums are a nice addition nicely—sounding good in the sound picture and giving a delicious fullness, punch, and liveliness.
