About the song
Mandy Takes a Gun was born in 2019 from the desire of Lucca, singer and author of the band. Inspired by his muse Mandy, he gathered some of his musician friends to develop this musical concept that speaks, through the EP released in April 2020 and the singles ''Another Way'' ''You'', ''Strange Little Girl'', ''Gimme your Hand'', of the Femme Fatale, the mythical woman, the absolute woman. That's why Lucca wanted to cover the song ‘’Femme Fatale’’ from the Velvet Undergroud. This song has been with him since he was a teenager. It's also a tribute to his meeting with Lou Reed in a New York taxi in 2011. Lucca, is surrounded by Alexandre Mazarguil fabulous composer, arranger, sound engineer, producer. All the songs are recorded in Alexandre's Parisian studio, UFO Studio. To have a perfect final sound all the songs are mastered in NYC by the excellent Steve Fallone at Sterling Sound Studio. Always in agreement with the concept of the Band which speaks of the Femme Fatale... We decided to cover this song that we adore from INXS ''Never Tear Us Apart'' with today's sounds and the ethereal voice of Lucca the singer.
