This composition is the second movement of a suite for orchestra performed by the Czech National Symphony Orchestra (CNSO) in Prague. The sound is beautiful and natural, the musicians play with warmth and authenticity. After a slow introduction the movement comes to life in a deluge of fantasy and lyrical romanticism. It is a tribute to Debussy's music and to Hollywood film music. The title is inspired by a book by Pierre Boule who is a French author who wrote Planet of the Apes and Bridge on the River Kwai.
