Mushroom Heart (Viva Vola)

Under Vola’s artistic direction, GATS experimented with synthesizers, drum machines, and distorted guitars until their 'pandemusic’ found its final form. With his disco-punk-infused beats and throbbing atmospheres, GATS laid down the fundament for Vola's sleazy voice. His lyrics about derailing afterparties and psilocybin induced sex-orgies, ironically engage with São Paulo's contemporary after-hour culture. Since the music was produced during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and both living on different continents, all the production work had to happen online by sharing ideas and files. “Outcrop Sensitivity, Natural Supernatural, Psychedelic love, Sex paradise.”
