MOGA original creation live at MIDƐM+23

MOGA Festival brought to life a unique artistic residency, a musical fusion between traditional Moroccan Gnawa music and electronic music. This unique creation featured Portuguese DJ/producer Moullinex, Moroccan vocalist Lala Tamar, and traditional gnawa musician Maalem Hicham Bilali. Last January at MIDƐM+23 the artists played a live performance involving Artificial Intelligence in collaboration with Mulabs. The artists were equipped by MULABS with Microsoft Kinect cameras and sensors that analyze numerous data points during their live performance (temperature, electromagnetic activity, heart rate, etc.). MULABS's Artificial Intelligence creates an avatar for each musician and transforms their data into a unique visual creation reflecting the emotional involvement of the artists during the performance.
